Excited to be showing work this year at St. Paul Art Crawl with Charlie Conley!

Charlie and I are both writers and editors by trade. Art is a way to use our hands, see the world in a different way, and escape large blocks of text. In our visual work, we’re both drawn to brevity, simplicity, and open space.

Some of our musician friends might be wandering in from time to time to play in the studio and I’ll be handing out free hand-painted bookmarks to celebrate the upcoming publication of my new novel Annika Rose. Also, there will be SNACKS.

I'll be signing books at one of Red Hen Press's booths (619, 621, and 623) at AWP 2024, the annual conference of the organization the Association of Writers & Writing Programs. Best of all, I'll be with fellow Red Hen Press author and friend-for-twenty-years Amy Shearn, the sparkling, witty author whose novels include How Far Is the Ocean from Here, The Mermaid of Brooklyn, Unseen City, and her newest book, Dear Edna Sloane, an epistolary novel forthcoming in April 2024.
